Inside the Daniels House - Architectural History Tour

Description:
Partnered with Historic Salem Inc, this tour runs throughout the year and charts the changing tastes and lifestyles to which this 350yr architectural marvel bore witness, from the rustic simplicity of the original c1667 house
to the grand Federal mansion that grew around it.
Due to COVID-19, we are limiting our tour events to
private parties (please contact us directly for further information on scheduling a private tour).
All other tours will be suspended until further notice.
Christmas Fireside Tales

Running every December, this evening of tales in one of America's oldest houses is devoted to stories about early Salem, Winter traditions and the festive season.

Description:
Warm up in front of a fire with a drink in hand. Every winter season we'll spend evenings to take an hour to learn about original lifestyles, notable winters, and infamous events this house stood witness to. Coffee and Tea will be provided. For those guests looking for a romantic evening of history, this event is BYOB. So feel free to bring a bottle of wine, beer, or whatever you prefer.

Description:
Tour Salem's historic streets as it was witnessed by the Daniels House. We'll start in the 17th century when the city was just a fishing village, through to the Witch Trials and culminate in the Golden Age at the turn of the 19th century, when Salem was the national hub for East India trade; bringing fame, wealth and permanent change to the growing city.
