Inside The Daniels House
A rare look inside a 17th century mansion; one of the oldest in Salem and witness to the infamous Witch Trials.
When: Daily at 12:00, 2:00 & 4:00pm

Description:
Built by a shipwright and captain in 1667, the Stephen Daniels House offers a rare look inside a 17th century mansion built when Salem was on the frontier of New England.
You'll get an intimate look at original details from the Witch Trials, American Revolution and beyond. These walls have seen it all. The Daniels House is not a museum nor a reproduction; it's an original home representing over 350 years of daily life.
Ticket proceeds go toward preservation of the House.
Due to COVID-19, we are limiting the number of tickets sold on each event to eight. Masks must be worn inside the house.

Lore of the Land

Description:
Strange tales and even stranger sightings from the earliest days of Salem and New England. Ancient diaries and adventurer's notes will be explored within the original rooms of the Daniels House; spaces that witnessed a world more terrifying than our own.

Description:
The Daniels House is an incredibly well-preserved witness to the 1692 Witch Trials. On this combination house and neighborhood tour, we'll immerse ourselves into the lives of the Daniels family by spending time in the original room where they lived through the Trials before exploring the neighborhood sites that still survive from this dark period of human history.

Legends pulled from New England's long history told by candlelight inside the ancient room of one of Salem's oldest homes. These stories were all found in old diaries, explorer's journals and period writings.
